FF appears to be significantly bigger, possibly 20x bigger than IE
Would anybody know the file sizes of IE and Firefox?microsoft windows
firefox is about 12MB install file..
IE is really integrated into windows....so...I would think it's about the same install file size

IE=2.5MB...The Fox=22.5MB.
Firefox, installed folder size, approx 25Mb.
IE folder approx 2.3mb.
Bear in mind IE uses other aspects of the operating system.
both folder sizes are insignificant in these days of multi Gb drives.
IMHO firefox is a much better browser, but that is a personal choice
Use safari and keep firefox as a backup
