IIT M.Tech admission for Grad.IE( Similar to AMIE)?

Hi,

I have qualified in GATE 2007 in PI all India Rank-7 score 598. I dont have a regular BE/B.Tech. I have compleated my Grad. IE from Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai with 74% average score. what are my chances of getting into an IIT for M.Tech. Also I came to know that students with professional qualifications like Grad.IE, AMIE etc have to go through a additional written test %26amp; Interview for IIT PG admissions. what is the test based on. Does any one have any info on the test.??
