This is the site http://www.1brightstar.com/HanoverCVoter...
Ok, in IE the content is in the center of the page, in Firefox it is where it should be. This is the code:
%26lt;TABLE width=596 align=center%26gt;
%26lt;TBODY%26gt;
%26lt;TR%26gt;
%26lt;TD vAlign=top%26gt;%26lt;!-- InstanceBeginEditable name="Body" --%26gt;

Problems with page in IE and Firefox?windows mobile
I also see the problem, you're using tables for layouts, have a read of this site http://www.hotdesign.com/seybold/ (that's assuming you'd like to move on from the 90's), webdesign has moved on over the years.
Problems with page in IE and Firefox?www.microsoft.com internet explorer
I see what you mean and viewed the site on both browsers....that's strange.
I see the problem
Because the table with the links and picture is so big, and there are only two rows, thus each row takes up half the page. therefore the second row(with the links) is halfway down the page. Try defining the first rows height like:
%26lt;tr%26gt;
%26lt;td height="150" valign="top"%26gt; ...
or somthin similar
i no i can b confusing so feel free to email with any other probs
have a nice day :)
I can see a few things - When viewing the source of the entire page.. You don't have a document type heading so some browsers will fail to render the page properly. What i'm describing looks like this and goes before the %26lt;html%26gt; tag:
%26lt;!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"%26gt;
%26lt;html%26gt;
Another thing in the improper use of the %26lt;div%26gt; tag within a table column - this type of tag should be used as an external container for layout with the tables inside of it %26lt;div%26gt;%26lt;table%26gt;%26lt;/table%26gt;%26lt;/div%26gt;
then you can use the style="positioning" attribute within the Division layer to place your images and text anywhere on the page..
check into this at http://www.w3schools.com/css
The site is great by the way - just needs a little refinement
