I tried creating a pop3 mail account with outlook 2007. I have a yahoo.ie mail address. When ever i provide the details in the configuration time, outlook is asking for username and password with a server id shown on top and the popup box's heading is Enter Network Password. i tried all the way and the error message that i get is "cannot log in to yahoo.ie server; the e mail server rejected logon.(0x800ccc92)".
How can i get through it? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only way to get POP3 access for Yahoo accounts is either with the paid version of Yahoo! mail or if your email addy is part of the ISP package you have.
Otherwise, Yahoo mail does not support free POP3 email. It is blocking you at the server level since your account does not have the proper access level.
Now you can go out and get YPops! if you like....
